Deborah Tranelli

DEBORAH TRANELLI may be best known to television audiences for her eleven seasons as Phyllis, Bobby Ewing’s loyal assistant on the iconic drama DALLAS, but she began her professional career in Chicago after graduating from Northwestern University’s prestigious theatre department. She appeared as Rebecca in the original cast of DO BLACK PATENT LEATHER SHOES REALLY REFLECT UP?, numerous industrial shows, and was a busy jingle, jazz and cabaret singer before heading to LA where she landed the coveted role less than a month after her arrival.

Deborah made guest appearances on many other television shows, including THREE’S COMPANY, HART TO HART, THE CHARMINGS, and even flew on the trapeze on CIRCUS OF THE STARS. She continued to perform in the theatre and cabaret rooms, and added hundreds of on-camera and voiceover commercial credits to her resume as well. After the final season of DALLAS she toured the country for Columbia Artists in COLE PORTER’S 100TH BIRTHDAY PARTY with jazz pianist Joe Harnell.
